Coleridge and Shelley Post

1. The power of the imagination is often exalted in romantic poetry. In your opinion, does "Kubla Khan" celebrate the imagination or caution against its indulgence? To whom might Coleridge be writing and for what purpose(s)?
The poem Kubla Khan in my opinion fancies both alternatives. The way that it happened to be written, he has references to people and factual images but by the superlative explanations given there is a sense of fantasy or imagination. I due to the fact that he is using regular ideas that kinda plays along with the idea that use imagination wisely.
I personally believe Coleridge was trying to write t those who are caught up in life and refuse to live a little or better yet dream. In essence he just wants the readers to think outside of the box and kinda stay outta the little square called the "comfort Zone.
