Response to the Lantern Theater Performance

I as an artist am not surprise by amazing performances just because in my opinion if you re going to be apart of an art form you must put your all into it as if its the last time you are ever going to perform or display the talent again. This play was absolutely stimulating to my ears. Yes its a bit over the top but I am a firm "hater" of plays without music just because of the lack of excitement for me. After seeing these people in a sense "modernize" this play, which is probably older than everyone's age combined in the room, I have a newfound love for shakespeare! Hamlet was over the top which appealed to me. The nonchalant attitude reminded me of my self. Even though the play was read before we witnessed the performance seeing a superb live performance of this work was a rejuvenation of the play for me. I would actually like to thank you Mr. Fiorini for organizing this trip.
